Shanghai, without lights, under a starry sky.
Beautiful works by photographer Thierry Cohen, showing dark cities under just the light of stars. He visited deserted places that are situated at the same latitudes of the featured cities to take pictures of the sky, and later superimposed these across the matching cities.

Great video in which you can watch the world’s metropolises awaken. Shot with a steadicam, which gives it an even more calm feel.
It’s a compilation of the lengthier cruises in all of the featured cities, which are available on the maker’s YouTube channel.

Nice film by Craig McCourry. The beautiful pictures show how cities are being used by massive flows of people and vehicles. My favourite part starts at 0:47: the extreme order of thousands of cars in Buenos Aires.
